The federal government is trying to push Canadians to transition away from coal to clean energy and, as a result, is putting about $578 thousand into two Saskatchewan communities to help workers deal with the transition. The Town of Coronach will get up to $60 thousand for a feasibility study and business plan for the development of a Coal Interpretive Centre. And the City of Estevan will receive up to $518,500 to increase the number of new businesses in the community.
