A report of what sounded like a gunshot, turned out to be false, but Regina Police officers who investigated, didn’t leave empty-handed. The call came in around seven o’clock Tuesday morning; what sounded like a gunshot on the 900 block of Montague Street and a suspicious vehicle pulling up just beforehand. Officers arrived and detained three people. Two of them, a male and a female were arrested on outstanding warrants. Another male and female were also found and arrested on outstanding warrants. A search of a house turned up a spent firework which is believed to have been the source of the sound that started the investigation. Officer also seized what they believe is stolen property. The investigation continues.
