Depending on the weather, around 10-thousand people could attend the 36th annual Broadway Street Fair tomorrow (Sat). DeeAnn Mercier with the Broadway Business Improvement District says as per usual, the Avenue will be blocked off from 12th Street to 8th Street. She describes the array of street performers, vendors, artists, musicians and merchants as eclectic and says the Street Fair is known as the best time for sales on Broadway. A children’s television performer from Treehouse TV, Miss Persona, will headline the stage behind Victoria School. Other children’s entertainment includes Kids Kingdom with a petting zoo, pony rides and bouncy castles. There is also a Cycle Show featuring custom, vintage and unique bicycles. Kids can test out their skills on a Short Cycle track. For the adults, there is a British Car Show and Shine and all of the food trucks and street performers, and you can test your aim and dexterity at the Lumberjax Axe Throwing booth. The Broadway Street Fair is open from 10 a.m. to 5 on Saturday.
