The RCMP have released more information in regards to the accident on Highway 11 near Osler Friday afternoon.

Police say they attended to the collision involving a northbound service truck and a southbound SUV around 4:42. The two vehicles collided head-on in the southbound lane.

The passenger of the SUV, a 75 year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 80 year-old driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The driver of the truck was treated on scene and released. The collision is still under investigation.
