The damage estimate is about $50 thousand after a fire on Verbeke Court around 10:30 last night (sun). The Saskatoon Fire Department arrived to find light smoke and fire damage to the exterior or a garage. Before crews arrived a neighbour was able to use a garden hose to keep the fire from spreading. The home next door also had damage to its exterior. There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
