A 16 year old girl is dead after a house fire on the Beardy’s First Nation Monday afternoon. Rosthern RCMP say the home itself had only minor fire and smoke damage. Police believe the girl was the only one there when the fire broke out. Her identity will be confirmed at an autopsy today [tues]. The cause of the fire is under investigation as are the circumstances leading up to the fire.
