Regina Police were called to a home in the 800 block of Grace Street just before midnight Friday.

Police say a resident in the area found a person breaking into a vehicle. When the culprit was confronted, they pulled out a firearm and fled on foot.

Minutes later, patrol officers and the K9 unit were able to locate an adult male matching the description of the culprit in the 3rd Avenue and Grey Street area.

The person has been arrested and the investigation is continuing.
