It was a bit of an unsettling start to the day for one Saskatoon homeowner.
Just before 8 a.m. Monday morning police were called to the 18-hundred block of Avenue D North where they say a home had been hit plus an SUV and a small car had crashed and were on the front lawn of the house. Meanwhile, the homeowner apparently located a man inside the home, hiding.
Police allege the driver was under the influence of alcohol and crystal meth, plus they say the SUV had been involved in a crash with another vehicle that was parked nearby and fled the scene.
A 35 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges including Impaired Driving, Dangerous Driving and Exceed .08.
