The Washington Capitals trimmed several players from their N-H-L pre-season roster Thursday…with the Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders each having a valuable forward returned to them in time for the start of the W-H-L regular-season.

Eric Florchuk (pictured) is back with the Bridge City Bunch while Aliaksei Protas returned to P-A in time for the start of this weekend’s home-and-home series. The first game is Friday at the Art Hauser Centre and the return match Saturday at SaskTel Centre.
