It’s October first and that means the minimum wage is now $11.32 in Saskatchewan. It’s an increase of 26 cents. Labour Relations Minister Don Morgan says the government has increased the minimum wage by more than 40 per cent since 2007. Each year, the minimum wage is calculated using an indexation formula. Saskatchewan has the second lowest minimum wage in the nation. British Columbia has the highest at $15.20.
