Premier Scott Moe is going to lead an 11 day trade mission to Japan and South Korea beginning next week. He wants to attract investment and advance Saskatchewan’s trade interests. The trip will also include a stop in Hong Kong to meet with investors. Joining the premier on this trip will be the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership, several of its members companies, as well a Canpotex, Cameco, and Mosaic. The province says that a key focus of the trip will be promoting our agriculture and agri-food products. Others involved in the trip will include both universities, Sask Polytechnic, the International Carbon Capture and Storage Knowledge Centre, VIDO, and the CLS. In 2018, Saskatchewan exports to Asia were valued at $8.5 billion.
