Another healthy body returns to the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 46-man roster (pictured), upon its release Friday morning.
Regina product and veteran C-F-L defensive tackle Zack Evans has been activated from the six-game injured list. He suffered a hip injury August 1 against visiting Hamilton and missed the last six games. He takes the spot of import Chad Geter in the Green and White’s seven-man defensive line rotation. As revealed earlier this week, the Riders activated Jordan Williams-Lambert, putting Kenny Stafford on the one-game injured list. J-W-L will start in place of Manny Arceneaux at one of the receiver spots (depth chart below).
Saskatchewan hosts Winnipeg tomorrow…both tied with nine wins, along with Calgary, for first place in the C-F-L West. Kick-off time Saturday is 5 at Mosaic Stadium and on T-S-N.
