Prince Albert RCMP are searching for two inmates that escaped on foot from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary Friday night.

Police say sometime between 8 p.m. and 9:45 that night, 19 year-old Noah James Lemaigre-Elliot and 20 year-old Jesse Dion Favel escaped custody.

It’s believed the two could be in Prince Albert or on their way to Yorkton, La Loche or Saskatoon where they have connections.

Jessie Dion Favel is described as 5 foot 11 with black hair and brown eyes. He is average build, weighing approximately 194 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green toque and black-rimmed glasses.

Noah James Lemaigre-Elliot is described as 6 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes. He is slim build, weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing track pants and a black coat.

The RCMP say both men can be dangerous and advise the public not to approach the men.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the two men is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
