A 38 year old man who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is now charged with 2nd degree murder rather than manslaughter. Saskatchewan RCMP are looking for Jonathan Dufraine in connection to the investigation of the October 2nd death of Zane Kiseyinewakup in northwest Saskatchewan on the Big Island Cree Nation.
Police are also looking for 2 vehicles: A silver 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL V6 All Wheel Drive SUV with damage to its bumpers and a grey 1996 Chevrolet Lumina 4-door. Both had Saskatchewan plates. Santa Fe: license plate 411 KIZ Lumina: 077 LPV
There have been no new sightings of Dufraine and no new leads to indicate where he may have traveled. He also hasn’t been in contact with friends or family, which is considered unusual so there is concern for his well being.
If you have information about Dufraine or the 2 vehicles, call the police or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. If you see Dufraine, police caution that he is considered armed an dangerous, so call 911 and don’t approach him.
