Saskatoon City Police spotted a stolen vehicle around three o’clock this morning (mon) at 33rd Street and Edmonton Avenue. They tried to stop it as it was slowly winding its way through residential areas. But the woman behind the wheel wouldn’t stop and began trying to evade police. She eventually drove onto a lawn and struck a tree on the 100 block of Wentworth Crescent. Police allege they recovered methamphetamine, a knife and a machete. The 22 year old is facing charges of Robbery, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine, Dangerous Driving and Evade Police.
