The Saskatoon Fire Department was called to a four-plex fire around 8:30 this morning (tues) at 1827 Avenue D North. They found heavy smoke coming from the lower level. They were able to extinguish the blaze and ventilate the building with fans. The fire is believed to be suspicious however an investigator is going over the scene now. There is no damage estimate yet. No one was hurt. Traffic restrictions were still in place at last word [9:13am]. And people were being asked to avoid the area.
