A Saskatoon Taxi driver was allegedly assaulted by a passenger with a sharp-edged weapon just after 11:00 last night [thurs]. It happened on the 2000 block of Park Avenue in the Holliston area. Saskatoon Police say the suspect refused to pay his fare. The injury to the driver was minor. A 25 year old man was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon and Transportation Fraud. He is in court today (fri).
