Saskatoon Police say they have arrested a 21 year old man and a 12 year old boy and seized drugs, cash and an assault weapon.

Police say they conducted a traffic stop Saturday in the 700 block of Appleby Drive and executed a search warrant at a motel in the 25-hundred block of 22nd Street West, which is the Westgate Inn, after getting a report of a vehicle being shot at and threats being made on social media. That is when a 21 year old man was taken into custody.

Police found the 12 year old during the search of the motel room and seized a loaded .22 assault rifle, nine boxes of ammunition, 359 packages of cannabis shatter, one ounce of pre-packaged soft cocaine and more than 42-hundred dollars cash.

Both males are facing more than 35 charges, primarily weapon and drug related.
