The proposed budget for the City of Prince Albert includes a 4.9 per cent tax increase, but that could change. The final tax rate will be determined following Council deliberations in early November.
Director of Financial Services for the City of Prince Albert, Cheryl Tkachuk, says the cost of doing business continues to grow, but despite those pressures, they have been able to present a budget that will sustain current service levels, maintain infrastructure investments and meet obligations to external stakeholders.
