Dawn Woroniuk, Director of the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation says it is sad but true, Tim Sinclair-Smith is going back to Australia. The zoo manager at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo has been at the facility just over 3 years.
She says during his time here he was able to increase attendance by creating something new each year at the Zoo including bringing the Komodo Dragons here from Calgary and then turning the exhibit into the Meerkat House
There was the opening of the Orano FunZone, the new accessible playground in the Zoo, and most recently through a partnership with the Australian Dingo Foundation and the Oakvale Wildlife Park in Australia the new Dingo exhibit opened in August.
The Zoo has also sold record amounts of annual passes through his tenure here.
