Battlefords RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after officers located a man with serious injuries on the 100 block of 26th Street West in Battleford. He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. Residents in that area can expect to see an increased police presence as they investigate. There may be times where traffic is restricted and people are asked to respect any police barricades that may be set up. In the meantime, police are asking residents of the town of Battleford and the city of North Battleford to be observant and aware of their surroundings and to report anything suspicious to police.
