Twenty-Four Saskatchewan RCMP officers hope to be better equipped to handle cases of relationship violence after getting specialized training this week.

The five-day course will focus on physical, emotional and sexual abuse.

Experts including a domestic violence survivor will talk about a wide range of topics including human trafficking, honour-based crimes and sexual violence.

Municipal police and provincial government partners have been invited to take part in the first two days of the course.
