Employers have a chance to learn about a 17-year program that prepares disabled people for the work force. The open house for Partners in Employment offered at SaskAbilities is Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SaskAbilities Program Manager in Saskatoon Emily Hurd says disabled workers bring commitment and innovation to the job site and it’s very satisfying connecting them with employers. The program which serves about 15-hundred people a year instructs disabled job seekers in areas like resume writing and interview preparation. It’s free to clients and business owners who get assistance hiring, training and developing disabled employees. The open house is at 316-2nd Avenue North.
