A single vehicle collision around 11:30 last night (mon) took down power lines and knocked out power to Briarwood and surrounding areas. Saskatoon Police say the roadway from 8th Street to Briarwood Road was closed to north and south traffic. City crews were called in to repair traffic lights and restore power to the affected areas. One male fled the scene but was later arrested, Charges are pending.
