A female passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries after the vehicle she was in struck a tree around 8:40 this morning (tues). It happened on Avenue E North at 31st Street. The Saskatoon Fire Department says the victim was trapped in the vehicle and they had to use hydraulic rescue tools to get her out. The male driver had minor injuries. Both went to hospital by ambulance. Saskatoon Police are investigating.
