Saskatoon Police say an investigation that lasted months and involved the Guns and Gangs unit has resulted in the arrests of a 21 year old man and a 20 year old woman.
Shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, a traffic stop was conducted on a van on Highway 7 just west of Saskatoon.
Officers believed the van was being used to transport drugs from BC to sold and distributed in the Saskatoon area.
The man and woman and a 1 year old child were inside the van. Police say they seized 900 packages of shatter which is cannabis extract and 3.2 kilograms of cannabis marijuana.
The vehicle stop led to the execution of a search warrant in the 200 block of Nelson Place in Warman where investigators seized 60 grams of shatter, 250 grams of cannabis marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Two motorcycles, two vehicles, a quad and two personal watercrafts were also seized as proceeds of crime.
