A traffic stop in North Battleford has resulted in weapons charges against two men and two women.

RCMP say an officer spotted a firearm after the suspicious vehicle was pulled over at about 10 p.m. Saturday on 105th Street.

Officers blocked off the street briefly while making the arrests.

35- year-old Camille Starchief and 29- year-old Marie Wuttunee were taken into custody along with two 38-year-old men, Nathan Bugler and Dennis Starchief.

Another man and woman arrested at the scene were released without charges.
