On Tuesday, patrol officers in Saskatoon were told that a man in an apartment might have a loaded sawed-off shotgun and that children in there might have access to it. That brought members of the Guns and Gangs Unit and the Tactical Support Unit to the 10 block Borden Place, just off Confederation Drive. Around seven o’clock that night, they executed a search warrant, seized a loaded shotgun, and arrested a 45 year old man without incident. There were two children and a woman inside at the time. Police say they were taken to a safe location during the search. The suspect is facing numerous firearm related changes.
