Saskatoon’s Connor Zary is the WHL player of the month for September and October. The Kamloops Blazers forward leads the WHL scoring race with 21 points including a league leading 16 assists.
In regular-season play during the months of September and October, Zary recorded a point in all but one game, posting a league-best 13-game point streak to begin the season. Of his performances throughout the month, Zary had six multi-point games, including a pair of three-point contests and four two-point efforts.
The 18-year-old who is in his third season with the Blazers, is listed as a potential second or third round draft choice by NHL Central Scouting for next summer’s draft.
