If you’re missing a sawed off shotgun you can inquire at the Saskatoon Police Department. About quarter-after-four Monday afternoon, police were told of an abandoned backpack near a fence by an apartment building on the 300 block of Keevil Crescent in University Heights. Apartment residents retrieved the backpack and found a firearm inside. That’s when they called police. Two males dressed in black with their hoods up were seen walking away from the backpack and its believed the same two came back after the backpack had been retrieved. It also held various types of ammunition. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
