Officers, including the canine unit, responding to a call of a break and enter in progress say they found the suspect inside when they arrived. The call came from a medical business in the 10 block of 23rd Street East. The front glass door was shattered and officers say the man refused to comply – it’s believed he was under the influence of methamphetamine. The 39 year old has taken into custody and charged with Break and Enter. No one was injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, Around 4 this morning Saskatoon Police were called to a report of a break-in at a business compound in the 19-hundred block of Quebec Avenue and – again – found a suspect inside when they arrived. A 37 year old man is facing a charge of Break and Enter and Theft. Officers seized stolen goods as well.
