City of Saskatoon transit workers have overwhelmingly approved a tentative three-year collective agreement.
Amalgamated transit Union Local 615 President Jim Yakubowski says members have voted 96.5-percent in favour of the deal which expires on December 31st.
Yakubowski says members are satisfied with the terms but realize bargaining will soon begin on another contract that would take effect January 1st.
Terms will not be released unless City Council ratifies the tentative agreement on November 18th.
The previous deal expired in 2016.
The difficult bargaining history between the two included a work to rule campaign by transit employees and a four week lockout by the city in 2014.
