Just after 10 Sunday morning, Saskatoon Police received a call from a member of the public saying that they were following a vehicle that was towing two stolen snowmobiles.
Police then located the suspect vehicle in Brighton and attempted a traffic stop.
The suspect failed to stop and continued driving eastbound on Highway 5. The suspect then turned onto Zimmerman Road and onto 8th Street westbound.
After stopstick were used to disable the vehicle, the suspect fled on foot. A K9 track was then initiated and a 47 year-old man was arrested.
The man is facing several charges including dangerous driving and evading police.
He will see a Justice of the Peace.
