Saskatoon Police and the RCMP allege 24 victims lost a total of around $2-million to a 69 year old former independent financial advisor and his business. The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority Securities Division began an investigation in June of last year, then an investigation was conducted by the SPS Economic Crime Section and the RCMP Saskatoon Provincial General Investigation Section.
Police identified 13 victims from Saskatoon and 11 from Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Vincent John Mullee is charged with criminal breach of trust, fraud over $5-thousand and laundering proceeds of crime.
