The premier of Saskatchewan has set goals of creating 100-thousand new jobs and increasing exports by 50-percent by 2030. Scott Moe’s new growth plan also includes increasing agriculture value-added revenue to 10-billion dollars. The premier also told a Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce gathering this morning in Saskatoon he hopes Saskatchewan’s population hits 1.4 million in 2030. The 30-point plan also set goals of 9-billion dollars in potash sales, increasing oil production to 600-thousand barrels a day and tripling growth of Saskatchewan’s technology sector as well as reducing surgical wait times to three months.
