The teachers bargaining committee has requested that the Educational Relations Board establish a Conciliation Board to provide assistance in reaching an new collective bargaining agreement . Saskatchewan Teachers Federation President Patrick Maze says while the current salary increase being offered is not enough and is a concern, class size and composition is potentially the biggest factor in play.
He says 50 per cent of their members have indicated that. Teachers are being offered a one time payment of $1500 followed by two percent raises in 2020 and 2021.
