The Saskatoon Hilltops have received some justified recognition with three of their players named to the C-J-F-L’s All-Canadian defence.
The trio of national all-stars are defensive lineman Jesse McNabb, middle linebacker Jaydn Pingue and defensive back Colton Holmes. McNabb and Holmes were All-Canadians last year. It’s Pingue’s first selection is his first year as a starter. Holmes will play in Saturday’s Canadian Bowl against the Langley Rams after missing the last five games with a lower body injury. The Toppers leave Friday for Langley. You can hear the Canadian Bowl, as the Hilltops go after a sixth consecutive Canadian title, on 92-9 THE BULL with the pre-game at 2-30 and play-by-play at 3.
