Regina Police, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, are investigating a fatal vehicle and pedestrian collision that happened shortly at 9:30 Friday night at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Robinson Street.

A 66 year-old man died as a result of the collision.

Police say the initial investigation indicates that a truck heading eastbound, struck the pedestrian as he was walking north in the west crosswalk through the intersection.

The name of the deceased will not be released at this time.
