Just after 10:30 Saturday night, Saskatoon Police responded to a robbery that happened in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 1400 block of 22nd Street.
In a news release, police say a female patron was in the parking lot when she was then approached by another female who demanded a cigarette.
When the first woman didn’t comply, the suspect assaulted her and took her purse and cell phone before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a female between the ages 20 and 25, 5 foot 5, tall with a slim build, wearing a black jacket, black pants and black boots.
She also had long black hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
