The Huntington Society of Canada says excitement in the community is palpable with the hope for a treatment that targets the root cause of HD. The disease is a debilitating brain disorder that is fatal and incurable. But now, many family members say, for the first time that they can recall, they have hearts full of hope. Tonight (tues), the society is hosting an education forum to talk about the most recent updates, as well as network with other patients and give community members an opportunity to have their question answered. It starts at six o’clock in the Edwards Centre at 334, 4th Avenue North.
