A 20-year-old man suspected of trying to steal from an Avenue B North business is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Saskatoon City Police say the suspect was tracked down just after 2 p.m. Monday after being confronted by an employee.
Officers found the man based on a distinct description by witnesses and he was arrested in an alley near Avenue C North and 38th Street West without incident.
Police say they found the drug and syringes on the suspect and there were outstanding warrants for his arrest.
