The stage is set for Thursday night’s Sask Country Showcase. All proceeds from the show at T-C-U Place will go to the Saskatoon Society for the Protection of Children’s Crisis Nursery Program. It has provided 24-hour care to about a thousand children each year whose families were facing crisis situations. Organizing Committee member Alice Kuipers says the Grand Ole Opry format for the ten-performer program will create an intimate, elegant and fun atmosphere for country music fans. Kuipers who is also a society board member is especially excited the nursery and the children it serves will benefit from the power packed program which includes a three-person songwriters circle. The show will be split into two halves featuring co-headliners Jess Moskaluke and Aaron Pritchett.
