Saskatoon Police say they got a call about gunshots in the 100 block of Avenue N south. The gunshots apparently were fired shortly after 9 Thursday morning but police weren’t called until 11:20 a.m.

Police say their investigation showed evidence of gunshots including at an apartment which was occupied. A search warrant was issued at an area home and several firearms were seized.

Police don’t believe the act was random and say the Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating. No one was injured.
