Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe will meet in Regina this Tuesday with federal Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland.
Moe already met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa on November 12, with demands for Trudeau to pause the federal carbon tax in Saskatchewan change the equalization formula.
But Moe scowled after he left, calling the meeting “disappointing,” saying there were no signs the two could find anything to agree on.
Jim Billington, a spokesman for Moe, says in an email that Moe has a “positive working relationship” with Freeland and looks forward to discussing the issues that face Saskatchewan. (The Canadian Press)
