Shots were fired in a community about 80 kilometres northeast of La Ronge early this morning (Mon) around 3:30. Stanley Mission RCMP responded to the incident in that community and found a 21 year old male walking along a street with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for what were reported to be serious, but not life threatening injuries. No suspects or witnesses have been found, so police are asking the public for any information that could help in this investigation.
