Shots were fired around 3:30 in the morning last Thursday into a camper/motorhome on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and RCMP are looking for tips in the homicide investigation. 26 year old Jeremy Bird was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital and a second male was treated for serious but non life threatening injuries.

RCMP say several shots were fired into the motorhome with 5 males inside. Police are looking for anyone who may have been in the area from the evening of Wednesday, November 20th through early the next morning. RCMP Major Crimes Unit North, Prince Albert Forensic Identification Services, La Ronge RCMP and Saskatchewan Digital Forensic Services Unit are investigating.
