The Fill the Plate Campaign at Saskatoon’s Friendship Inn will help pay for the one-thousand meals staff and volunteers serve each day.

The December fundraiser is getting a major boost from Nutrien.

The company will match all cash donations up to 100-thousand dollars.

Executive Director Sandra Kary says the campaign is crucial to the children, youth, adults and seniors who rely on the Friendship Inn.

The facility offers meals and other services with no questions asked.

Kary says they also welcome volunteers throughout the year.
