La Loche RCMP has laid charges in a shooting incident from November 3rd.

Police say they found a damaged pickup truck and five men hiding in the bush along highway 155 just south of La Loche who say they were chased with shots coming from another vehicle.

Police say after weeks of dealing with uncooperative witnesses they determined the five men traveled from Buffalo Narrows to La Loche to buy drugs, got involved in an altercation and were pursued south along the highway when the shots were fired.

Four of five men face armed robbery charges and seven firearms offenses. They include 19-year-old Dawson Tyrell Laliberte who is still at large.

Police would like to hear from anyone who knows where he may be.

The other man is accused of cocaine trafficking in addition to eight weapons charges.
