Wholesale merchants’ sales rose 2.9 per cent in Saskatchewan in September. Only Newfoundland and Labrador could better that. The national average was an increase of one per cent. Year-to-year, sales were up 3.4 per cent here. Six provinces outperformed us there. The national average was an increase of four percent. In September, Saskatchewan registered about $2.4 billion in wholesale sales.
