With the snowfall in the city, crews are applying de-icing materials on priorities 1, 2, and 3 streets. That includes everything from the freeway, major roadways, main streets and schools, to arterials and collectors.
Crews are plowing and grading priority streets, grading high-traffic sidewalks and pathways. 6 high speed plows, 24 graders and 10 sanders are at work. Snow plows and graders are slow moving. The city asks that drivers pass equipment slowly and safely.
